Fees and Membership
- The first taster class is free, then a further two taster classes can be paid for individually at £5 per class. After this, students are required to make a commitment to training and the class fees must be paid on a monthly basis.
Membership
- Once a commitment to training has been made, all students of the STC must be members, this requires completion of a membership form and the joining/annual fee, which is £30.00.
Weekly Classes
- Fees should be paid at the beginning of each month.
- Fees are subject to there being four classes in each month. If there are fewer than four (you will be notified) the fees will be reduced accordingly.
- 1 hour per week: £22 per month / Concessions £18
- 2 hours per week: £38 per month / Concessions £32
Private Tuition
- The private tuition fee is £30 per hour / £15 per half hour.
- Some private lessons are shared, in this case the lesson fee is shared evenly between those scheduled to be in attendance.
- If a certain number of private lessons have been agreed then these should be paid for in advance.
- If students attend private lessons on a regular basis then each month should be paid for in advance at the beginning of the month.
Concessions
- Concessionary rates are available for those on benefits.
- There are no concessions on reduced fees. (If the monthly fees are reduced because there are fewer than four classes in a particular month then the reduced fees will be the same for everyone).
