Please call or email to check if there is space available before bringing your child to a taster class. Although new students are always welcome, there are limited spaces in each class.
For under 7's only small private tuition groups of up to 3 are suitable, these run for 30 mins and work much more effectively for this age group (Tuesdays).First taster class is FREE!
Tuesdays at the Baltonsborough Village Hall
- 4.15pm - 4.45pm Under 7's Private Tuition Group
- 4.45pm - 5.15pm Under 7's Private Tuition Group
- 5.15pm - 5.45pm Blue Sash Private Tuition Group
- 5.50pm - 6.50pm Over 7's Beginner group
Wednesdays at the BVH
- 4.00pm – 5.00pm Blue Sash group
- 5.00pm – 7.00pm Green sash and above
Thursdays at Tor Leisure, Glastonbury
- 5.00pm – 6.00pm Over 7's Beginner group
Fees and Membership
The first taster class is free, then a further 2 taster classes can be paid for individually at £5 per class. After this students are required to make a commitment to training and the class fees must be paid on a monthly basis.Membership
- Once a commitment to training has been made, all students of the STC must be members, this requires completion of a membership form and the joining/annual fee, which is £30.00.
Weekly Classes
- Fees should be paid at the beginning of each month.
- Fees are subject to there being 4 classes in each month. If there are less then 4 (you will be notified) the fees will be reduced accordingly.
- If attending one class per week the monthly fees are £22.00 (concessions: £18)
- If attending 2 classes per week the monthly fees are £38.00 (concessions: £32)
Private Tuition
- The private tuition fee is £30 per hour / £15 per half hour.
- Some private lessons are shared, in this case the lesson fee is shared evenly between those scheduled to be in attendance.
- If a certain number of private lessons have been agreed then these should be paid for in advance.
- If students attend private lessons on a regular basis then each month should be paid for in advance at the beginning of the month.
Concessions
- Concessionary rates are available for those on benefits.
- There are no concessions on reduced fees. (If the monthly fees are reduced because there are less than 4 classes in a particular month then the reduced fees will be the same for everyone).
